Daily Market Analysis Thursday, September 29, 2011, 09:21 Resurgent Hopes Likely To Bolster Sentiment The major U.S. index futures are pointing to a sharply higher opening on Thursday, with sentiment getting a boost from the approval of the enhancement in the European Financial Stability Facility by the German Parliament. Additionally domestic economic data released today came in better than expected. The Labor Department said jobless claims unexpectedly fell in the recent reporting week, although much significance cannot be attached to the drop, given the fact that it was attributed to technical issues and seasonal factors.
